psychographics

The intended demographics this advert is trying to target is predominately Caucasian since all of the cast members shot in this are Caucasian. This advert can also be used to target an older audience possibly those who served in the war giving them a sense of nostalgia.

The purpose of this advert is to promote Sainsbury’s which is a supermarket to bring more revenue into the company.

The ad manipulates the emotions of the audience by showing that if they might have surrendered it would have ended and finished off well even though it didn’t and can bring back bad memories for the older audience.

A certain type of marketing technique techniques that use already existing social networking and other technologies to possibly try to increase brand awareness.

What made people share it is the fact that it is different and unique by using a different setting that people no but have never experienced it before.

The process of making a viral buzz is by paying a company such as face book to look at different peoples interest’s and they made the advert from the information they was given and made it appealing for a certain audience making them like it which then leads to it getting shared by the public.

This is close to being plagiarised from wikipedia:
"marketing techniques that use pre-existing social networking services and other technologies to try to produce increases in brand awareness..."
