Skins report
The camerawork is used in a specific way such as when the fight starts to break out the one with the pool cue is shot using a low angle showing that he has authority and is on top of the fight. And when the nerdy character and the troubled are filmed hiding and with an eye level shot that helps you connect with the characters more since they are more relatable. And when the popular one takes the drug the camera starts to lose focus and gets quite dizzy which corresponds with the drug he has taken. And when they are sprinting up the stairs the camera goes quite quickly to set you with the scene and make it feel like you are there.
What this tells us about the characters motives are that the one that lights the flare the reason that he has only come out is to cause trouble and to have a fight the one with the hood up and a hat on has only come out to pick up girls and it shows their true motives and what they really want to do.
The audience of this trailer or this show is aimed for 18 to 25 year olds. And they are watching this for entertainment and thrills. The genre of this TV show is a Teen Drama and its purpose is to purposely exaggerate younger people such as teenagers since they believe that they are delinquents. The mise en scene in this scene shows that they are immature they come in to a nice calm pub where there is an older audience and they come in being loud disrupting the older people. And lighting off flares in the pub and starting a fight. They have ripped cloths, which shows they are rebels and the older audience is dressed quite casually and one of the teenagers is wearing a hat with his hood up showing that he does not care.
The reason that the characters come out as shadows or silhouettes is to show that they are mysterious and this is at the beginning of the trailer to add a sense of wonder so you are wondering who these people are and what their motives are.
These characters are filmed as a group to show that they care for each other and that they might even be a little unfriendly with this pub since they might not have ever been there before showing that they might even be a little bit afraid.
The camera loses focus to make you feel how they are feeling like when the leader takes a drug he feels dizzy and out of mid so the camera is shot in this way to make us feel the same way.
The ground level shot of this girl shows that she is clearly scared and is hiding and that she is the troubled outsider and that she is a little bit different to the others and has a little bit of common sense about her since she hides and does not get involved.
The reason the characters are filmed in slow motion and at a low angle is to show authority and that they have come out on top of the fight and are as happy as ever. And the reason that they are in slow motion shows that they are powerful.

The way blocking is used to show power in this trailer is by using the main characters together. What I mean by this is when one man walks up to two of the young boys the popular one is blocking the sarcastic one to show that he has the most power over his friends and is the leader. And the way they are positioned as they enter the pub is the sarcastic one walks in first to draw the most attention to himself saying hi to people that he probably does not know. Then the rest of them walk in a huddled sort of way to show that they think that they are important when really they are not.

Well the important characters are the
popular leader of the group (the one with his hood up) since the camera focuses
on him a lot and you get to see why he has come out here. The sarcastic one he
is important in the trailer since he is the one that starts off the entire
fight kicking the trailer into gear. And the Adolescent confident one she is
important since she shows she can be an adult drinking at a pub but then
starting a fire extinguisher showing that she has not grown up and that she has
a way to go and the popular one notices her and possibly likes her after this
incident.
