Blocking is being used in this scene. The gun is blocking the person holding the gun so we have to focus on the gun since the camera already has its focus on it. and the reason that this is being done is because it wants us to believe that we are on the other end and that we are the ones the gun is pointing at adding a sense of tension.
the lighting in this scene is very dark so we think that the man holding the gun is very mysterious and could possibly be the villain. since he appears from darkness and we can barley even see him.
it is an eye level shot making it feel like we are right there with him and he is aiming the gun straight at us making it feel like we are in the scene also since we are eye level with the gun.

this high angle shot shows that he is vulnerable since he is looking up and it shows he is weak and in the background of this scene no one else is there so this also shows that he is alone.
TASK 2
Linear Stories: the equilibrium stage is basically the beginning which is more about introducing characters and the setting. from this we get to know the characters and makes us care about them more since they have development and from the setting we get to see what their lifestyle is like is if we see a street with tons of huge houses then we know that they live a good lifestyle and if they live in a run down estate then we know if their lifestyle is not as good.
the Disruption stage of a Linear story line is when the conflict usually starts and the villain is introduced and the point of doing this is to add suspense and not keep the movie boring.
and the final stage is the resolution stage or the ending of the movie. This stage usually involves the final fight between the good guys and the bad guys this could usually end as a cliffhanger or the good guys living happily ever after.
Non Linear: a Non linear story line is a story line in which it is out of order and is usually harder to understand filmmakers tend to do this so movie goers will piece together the movie as it carries on. And this gets the audience engaged so they find it interesting and generally like the film but if done incorrectly it gets too confusing for the audience
